Why we started
The problem with buying fragrance in Pakistan is simple: the good stuff costs more than most people can justify. A bottle of Creed Aventus runs north of Rs. 90,000. Dior Sauvage is Rs. 30,000 or more. For the majority of people, that isn't a decision — it's a closed door.
What filled the gap was mostly disappointing. Thin oils that vanished within two hours. Bottles claiming to be "first copy" or "original" when they were neither. Longevity claims nobody could stand behind.
We thought it was possible to do better at a price that made sense.
How we built it
Before we sold a single bottle, we spent months on research, formulation and testing. Getting a scent to open correctly is the easy part — almost anyone can copy an opening. Making it hold its character four hours in, and dry down into something worth wearing, is where most cheap fragrance falls apart.
We tested on skin, in Karachi heat, over full days. If a formulation collapsed by afternoon, it didn't launch.
What goes in the bottle
Our fragrance oils are imported from France and the UAE — France for its perfumery houses, the UAE for oud and oriental materials. This is the single biggest reason our fragrances perform the way they do. The oil is the fragrance; everything else is packaging.
Every Bouyesh scent is Extrait de Parfum, which carries a higher fragrance-oil percentage than EDP or EDT. That's why our longevity figures hold up.
What we won't do
We don't sell counterfeit product, and we don't claim a bottle is something it isn't.
Some of our fragrances are impressions — built to smell close to a well-known original. We say so plainly on the product page, and we name the original. We are not affiliated with those houses, and we don't pretend an impression is identical to a Rs. 90,000 bottle. It reads as recognisably similar; that's the honest claim.
The rest are Signature Scents — our own compositions, not impressions of anything. Cobalt, our best-reviewed fragrance, is one of them. So are all three of our ouds.
We also publish real longevity figures. Whisper lasts 5–7 hours because it's a light citrus, and we say that rather than claiming 24 hours like everyone else. You'd find out in an afternoon anyway.
