Not an impression of anything. Cobalt is ours. It opens with bergamot and grapefruit, sharp and citrusy, then moves into pepper and lavender at the heart. Cedar and vetiver anchor the base, giving it a dry, woody finish that holds all day.

Fresh and sharp at the top, dark and woody underneath. Bergamot, green apple and ginger open it clean and energetic. Sage and geranium sit at the heart, adding a dry aromatic edge. Then it turns: amberwood, cedar and tonka bean give the base a smooth, almost sweet weight that lasts.

Fruity, warm and easy to like. It opens bright with apple, orange blossom, bergamot and lemon — juicy without being sharp. Rose, patchouli and teakwood build a warm, slightly spicy heart, and vanilla with musk closes it soft and smooth.

Sauvage works because it's simple and loud in the right way. Majesty follows the same path: a bright, peppery bergamot opening that hits immediately, then Sichuan pepper and lavender at the heart, and a long ambroxan and cedar base that keeps radiating for hours.

XAU COBALT — fresh, woody and warm. An all-season bottle you can wear in July and in January.

It opens cold and bright: bergamot and grapefruit with a clean marine note underneath, and cardamom giving that opening a spiced edge most fresh scents never have. The heart settles into lavender, geranium, cedarwood and nutmeg — aromatic and dry, the part that makes it read as expensive rather than sporty.

Then it turns. Vanilla, tonka bean, amber and patchouli come through with sandalwood, vetiver and musk, and the whole thing goes from crisp to warm on your skin. That shift is the point of XAU COBALT — one bottle that works at nine in the morning and still works at nine at night, in any month of the year.
